Don't know if this was already posted but Marlon Yarde has also put his perspective over in an interview with Sky Sports. Whatever you think of him it's unacceptable he's had to endure racial abuse on his England debut and as recent as this season. I really hope it wasn't from our supporters.

Brentford and Wilfred Zaha are going to stop "taking the knee".
Brentford players saying they think while they "take the knee" the people at the top think it's job done and are not doing mush else to help rid the sport of racism.

The real irony is that Kaepernick was originally abused for simply not standing for the anthem. A former Green Beret got in touch with him to suggest that kneeling would be appropriate and respectful, and he agreed to do it instead of staying seated. And then people made out that kneeling was 'disrespecting the flag'.

I believe it was in reference from  Martin Luther King, who took the knee in 1965.
