One of the more misleading headlines I've read in my time. Two events taking place at the stoop:

2nd November – Community & Foundation session and Supporters Event at The Stoop
8th November – (Invitation Only) Harlequins Thought Leadership Series event: Global Partnerships featuring NZR Chief Executive Steve Tew.

I'm not particularly fussed about any of this, but it does feel like a lot of fanfare being made about not much of interest.

A couple of baby steps in useful links from this partnership:

Quote
Alongside this, Harlequins is looking forward to hosting Harry Plummer, a New Zealand U20 international Fly-half who will spend a week with Harlequins once the internationals have finished as part of this innovative collaboration.
Preparing the way to a loan in the future?

Quote
The partnership has already seen former All Blacks Fly-half and now Quins’ Skills and Off-the-ball coach Nick Evans visit New Zealand earlier this year to share knowledge and forge relationships. Earlier this summer the All Blacks Sevens squad also trained at The Stoop ahead of the London 7s and their team performance analyst Tom Martin joined Harlequins at their pre-season fixture against Ealing.
It would be useful if our coaches can regularly spend time with coaching teams in NZ and vice versa. Getting & improving the right skills in the coaching setup is essential for the team to improve.

Delighted if the partnership works, writing a headline that makes it look like there will be some chance of seeing the All Blacks at the Stoop when it's just some internal business stuff is a bit silly.

You might as well say "Eddie Jones to make Stoop appearance" when he comes to watch a game, it's not like he's fronting the post-match band.

Which is fortunate anyway because he'd just make the bass player play drums and bring in an untested lead singer and then make him stand at the back facing the wall for no apparent reason.
