The act is confirmed as Pete Tong

Oh god, Ibiza classics for those in their late 40s who were clubbing in the 90s when he was cool.

I speak as one of those people.

I've never hated anyone more than when a friend went to see Pete Tong do "club classics" with a full orchestra at the Albert Hall.

Where rebellion and excess goes to die a horrible death in the awful reminiscence of the middle aged.....classical music covers of dance tracks....

Looking forward to this, much better choice than whatever passes as the latest pop sensation.

I wasn't that far off with the chemical brothers....
Rather have Pete Tong than some of the random stuff (sorry up and coming acts 🙄) that and had to suffer in the past. Fatboy would be good too....

Didn’t see Pete Tong but I went to the Hacienda version. Not sure the Royal Albert Hall has seen many crowds like it - certainly still plenty of excess.

There must have been some dodgy kebabs as well that evening cos the queues for the cubicles were much longer than for the urinals. 🤔
