Yes, I think we know what "not considered for selection" means.

On the wider point of player rotation, I like the way Gussy is doing this and, as he says, "trusting the squad" and challenging other players to step up. It almost feels like something of a novelty! Under JK and Conor it seemed to me we rarely rotated, with the consequence that when we came to the business end of the season we had little left in the tank. In the semi-final playoff with Saracens at Allianz Park about 3 years ago and I remember we were well in the game at half time. But the sun was shining, it was the horrible plastic pitch and the boys visibly wilted 2nd half.

Last season, partly because they were "last man standing", Robshaw (as always) and Luamanu played a ridiculous number of games. But you get the feeling the squad will be in better shape to play big games in the 2nd half of the season this time. In part, this is because some of the experienced lads aren't being selected for England so much, but also because Gussy is challenging the whole squad to step up, including youngsters like Ibitoye, Dombrandt, Saunders and Murley.

But we still totally outsung them on their own patch so we took the moral victory.
