Yup, this. NEv as coach mitigates the "lack of experience" argument. I like this approach - Marcus will be a much better player, much earlier than most fly halves. Accelerated development. When you have talent, use it instead of sheltering it. Players only learn and get better by having the opportunity to screw up. And Marcus doesn't really do too much of that anyway.
Agree to an extent but Sarries have not won things by playing guys with potential. Since 2012 I have heard about all the guys we have with potential and we have won diddly squat. Happy to have Heron but would have liked to see a more experienced proven 10 come to the club. I also trust Gussie to have signed someone whom will be more than a journeymen and who will make a contribution.
