The system was installed on Thursday, the reason it was so late is because the original panels were delayed in transit coming from China, these panels came from an alternate source. My assumption is that the installation finished so late that they could not be fully tested and, hopefully, the brightness can be adjusted down.
I'd be interested to know if the sudden colour changes/brightness were a distraction for the players near to that touchline as the black and white did not have the same intensity IMHO.

Thanks for the info, hopefully as you suggest they can be toned down....

Interesting, sitting in the DHL it was also distracting - kept seeing flashes reflected off the pitch and onto eventually worked out what it was.

I'm in the Charles Stanley stand inside the 22, but right at the back, so quite high up. I must admit the hoardings were pretty bright and noticable, but didn't distract me too much watching the game.

More noticable was the music, chatting with the guys around me at half time was a struggle having to raise our voices to be heard, same before the game. I'd prefer it be turned down a bit, but still in the background, saves shouting as much.
