2nd in Champions cup, who’s next ?
« on: Saturday 22-Jan-2022, 09:27* »
Possible trip to Clermont , but that being said, could be Glasgow, Sale, or others Haven’t seen anything official to say there will only be one leg, just rumours,
According to EPCR page still home and away in April

With the current restrictions in France, would be a real shame to have a game played in front of 500 people

Most likely Montpellier or Glasgow I'd think. Clermont possible but they might finish 8th. I'd expect Sale to win so less likely to be them.

Do like  Sale trip, but really don’t want to go there in Champs cup
Clermont or Glasgow would be good

Looking likely to be Clermont unless a major upset
And with stadium restrictions being lifted next month and not having to do all the tests to come back to Uk, not a bad away trip if it happens

I’m not sure how it works with who gets who, but it seems pretty stupid you can achieve like we have in this comp, and get shafted for an away fixture.

Makes more sense, thought it was just a straight knockout for some reason.

Both would be tough locking at the Montpelier pack it would not be any easier than Clermont, so I guess it doesn't really matter as whoever we play will be a tough challenge

Yes, we are going to need Marler, Collier and Louw fit to take on Houas and co.

They look a hefty bunch of forwards. Exeter are playing their third choice tight head. But still they are killing Exeter all over the field.

Looking very much like it's going to be Montpelier at the moment, pushing for the BP try already with just 28 minutes gone....

Shocked then, kicked the points when 21-5 up from the Exeter 22. Thought they might have gone for jugular..
