I don't think he's big enough to be s proper contender. The sheer size of some of those guys is part of their success. Eddie hall looks short but I think is 6'3" and weighed about 30 stone

it is the strength and conditioning coach.

he will always struggle to get to the finals as he needs to win the qualifier in first place.  Otherwise he needs to go in on a 2nd/3rd place playoff in the atlas stones event.
the problem is that he isn't very tall and therefore struggles with the stones.  he can do lots of training, but growing 6 inches in height is an issue.

but, he is improving - so maybe next year
