Ever since he came back on his ban I think he’s been brilliant. For me, he’s the best 12 in the league and works so well next to Marcus. After Roberts and Saili, it’s great to finally have a star signing at 12 performing at such a high level.

He’s an exceptional signing and really adds something to the team - and if some of his skill set rubs off on Lasike in training, that gives us a more than adequate backup option.

It’s a testament to how good the Boks are at the moment that he’s surplus to requirements for them... but I hope he has found a long term home at the Stoop - shades of NEv there in some respects.

I wouldn’t be totally surprised to see him get a call up for the Lions test this summer. Him and De Allende are fighting for that 12 shirt inside of Am.
