I thought the three episodes were all pretty good but if I was anything other than a Quins fan I might only have watched one. I can’t see a non rugby fan stopping by really. The good parts for me were how the players were quite comfortable opening up to a fellow rugby player and also Flats’ amusing contributions which were used to frame different pieces. I thought the choice of players to focus on was a bit odd, particularly CSW who has barely featured in competitive matches, although as it was pre-season the makers obviously wouldn’t know that. If I didn’t already have Prime I don’t think I’d bother getting it just for this.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was a nice chance to hear from the boys, who all seemed to open up and speak quite candidly. Rugby players generally are very grounded and very friendly. The interviews added to that sense of decency and humanity. I liked Marcus and his family. Chis was also excellent value.
I think it is a shame it didn't come out in September, straight after pre-season (I know editing quickly would be tough and Beno was working on his own pre-season with Bath.......) I think that would have made it a bit more relevant from a timing point of view.
Anyway, really good fun and a great watch for Quins fans. I think other rugby fans would find it interesting, if they are able to engage with other clubs. Finding our what makes the champions tick is always going to be of interest, no matter what the sport or who the champs are.

I’m assuming Marler didn’t want to be involved. There’s no way you’d limit his involvement to such indirect cameos otherwise.
With the possible exceptions of Wallace and Morris (don’t get me wrong - I like them both, but I wouldn’t necessarily given them both as big an involvement as they have in it), I thought it was a good group. Lennox probably got a bit more air time than you’d expect for an academy player yet to make a serious breakthrough, but the angle with mental health was important and shows the less glamorous side of trying to make it as a professional.
CSW was in there for the story. It made sense and as I’ve said on other threads, I still think it’s too early to dismiss him when he could still become a real asset for us. He did say he didn’t get his surgery until he arrived back in the UK which probably explains why we’ve seen so little of him.
Agree with all of the above. As a quins fan I enjoyed it but it offered nothing to pull in passive viewers.
In my opinion they need to follow one team throughout the season with behind the scenes, changing room footage, team talks, win/loss reaction, DoR/boardroom chats. All the ugly stuff as well as the glory stuff...the same as the Amazon documentaries they did for a few football teams, spurs etc...
