The game is showing up on the listings for some of the streaming services but does not guarantee that it will appear, worth a look though for those who cannot get to The Stoop.

Now that BT have ousted Sky from the European games they have turned their back on the Challenge Cup.

When you’ve got the sole rights to the proper cup why show the rubbish one?

Only reason before was to offer some kind of rugby against your competitor.

No competitor - no reason to show. Minuscule audience so not worth investment.

Northampton, Sale, Bristol, Worcester, La Rochelle, Stade Francais, Clermont Auvergne, Bordeaux, & Quins, etc might not agree with that.

The supporters of those clubs not televised will always be miffed , but BT are not going to show Challenge Cup ahead of Champions Cup games and they are on at the same time , it makes no commercial advertising sense to screen the lesser comp as they want to appeal to rugby loving neutrals .

Would you prefer to watch Toulouse v Wasps or Warriors v Pau this afternoon ?

I think there might be a market for delayed "As Live" coverage of the minor competitions on FTA?

That would be a good solution  for us rugby folk deadly , but if it worked they would probably be doing it regularly now with football? They don't even have a TV highlights show for Challenge Cup as far as I can see ?

No one watches - you only watch your own club - that’s not an audience worth the spend on coverage.

Champions Cup we all watch and neutrals too.

As all matches are filmed anyway and generally, there is no commentary needed as the ref's are all miked up and as streaming on the internet costs very little money, it is difficult to understand why this is not an option for all games.  A small amount of advertising would probably cover the streaming costs.

Quite a few championship games have been streamed this season on Facebook.  Surely, it would be good to use this approach for the 2nd string cup in this case to allow supporters from smaller teams to follow their clubs.

I would like it if the stream was locked down and only shown in the clubhouse of the away team.
In other words, you could watch the Benetton v Quins game at the Stoop and the Quins v Benetton game at Stadio Comunale di Monigo.  This would mean that the clubs could make money from beer and food sales for away games.

Me too, but we're in a very small minority compared to "people watching sport on tv".
