Apparently somewhere between 30k & 40k.... quite a drop off from previous years!!!!??
That's about standard for this point in the calendar. Last year we got to the 50,000th ticket sold at the end of November. The same was true in 2016 for BG9. In the case of BG8, we sold the 30,000th ticket in the middle of November. BG7 saw the 50k mark reached at the end of November in 2014. The year before we reached the 30k mark in Mid November again. In 2012, we had sold 40 thousand tickets by the third week of November.
I can add anecdotally that a friend of mine is going to be buying his tickets in the next week or so, as he & his family have only just now decided on their Christmas plans, so he now knows he's free then.
Normally really kicks on in Dec. I know a few that go that normally wait until the last minute, not for any reason, just they are not very organised!!!
And now the club have announced
we've sold over 50,000, which puts us at about the usual number sold by this point.
