The Scottish Parliament and Welsh Assembly have both announced today that there will be no crowds at sporting events from Boxing Day onwards.
Mu understanding is that all they've said for England, is no restrictions before Christmas. It's not hard to see England following from the 26th, or 27th. Johnson has often followed what the Welsh & Scottish governments have done.
I wouldn't like to be Laurie Dalrymple over the next couple of days.
Bojo should be leading not following the devolved governments, London appears to be Omnicrom central at the moment with an estimated ,by the Zoe scientists, 1 in 20 now having COVID and its going up.
With 40 % being asymptotic you could be spreading it unknowingly so their advice is to minimise your contacts as much as possible. They also say that it appears to be milder at the moment with cold like symptoms for most, certainly the case for my wife! but as always some have worse outcomes.
I really don’t want games behind closed doors again, cancelled or postponed, and I fully appreciate that the Big game is a big money maker for the club but I also agree and think the writings on the wall.
We also have no clue about the current infection rates at Quins or Northampton maybe none, a few or significant numbers hopefully it’s none but the whole thing could already be in doubt if there are positives.
Whatever happens stay safe, consider others and if the game does go ahead do what YOU want, but remember it is on TV.....
