Was Prem 7s player of the year - looks like a good DC replacement to me.

I am a bit surprised we let him go tbh, although Saunders also looks a good player in the making

...a "might-have-been DC replacement" who unfortunately has been released. Personally would have liked to see him turning out for us and actually getting some game time next season but who knows what else is behind the decision.

Congratulations to them all.

Does this mean Waters is joining the 7s programme? I thought that would be a good option for him

I also thought it was a shame we let him go as he's always looked decent. I know his father was very ill so not sure if he wanted a change or if there's more to it than that, or just a decision based purely on how they rate him as a prospect

Yes it was tongue in cheek.

Mind you he’s 23, so I guess we’d have been giving him more game time if he/the club thought that was his path...
