Every schoolboy is a bad defender, they've simply not developed yet and haven't faced a proper attack or been in a proper defensive structure.
It's up to the coaches and his attitude.
To be fair some of the schoolboy defending against CC in those clips was pretty turnstile.
Think he has only just turned 17 and still has another year of schoolboy rugby. Makes his highlights all the more impressive!
very impressive. just unstoppable from 5m out. Thanks.
Murly at Full back, gabs on one wing and Clay on the other. Could be a dynamite back three.

... With Smith, Lang and Marchant filling out the backs, all we need is a decent replacement for DC!
He looks big ;lad with a good step, and great balance in his running. It will be interesting to see how well he develops and how he stands up against bigger players.
A lot of a-league games and lower league games are filmed like this and are perfectly acceptable to watch. If you are linked to the ref's mike, then you have an ongoing commentary as well.
At one a-league game a long time ago, there was a small company that streamed the game live. I'm guessing it was pretty cheap to do. They had a single van with a couple of guys with cameras. The video was streamed to a website that had lots of advertising messages around it. I'm surprised that we haven't seen more of that sort of service. The technology to do it is very cheap.
I seem to recall that Bath show their A-League games live. It's not the best quality, but personally I'd be more than happy with any rugby! I do wonder how viable it would be to have just a few cameras showing live rugby, on a subscription only basis.
Freesports also showed some A League games last year which were perfectly acceptable from what I recall.
