Celerycap investigation

Delay of results until after the world cup...my reading is there must be a negative finding otherwise why delay? If so will be interesting what the fall out is...

Think I'd rather know now than have the sword of Damocles hanging over me.

This may get interesting. I woder if they are actually going to do something - stop the 'extra' payments, fine and deduct a lot of points. Relegation for a year may also help stop it.

No chance - the most it will be is a fine which will not bother a guy who has lost 50m on the club in the last 5 years or so.  Then Sarries will just carry on cheating.
I would not be at all surprised if they sign more players after the WC - some from Japan would fit the bill and still say they are under the cap.

Personally the way Sarries have been allowed to cheat has killed all of my enthusiasm for the league.   I have  ST but I am sure I will not be going to many games - cannot be bothered to go on Saturday and will get a ST for Brentford next season.  Missed Exeter away for the 1st time since they were promoted and id not even bother to find out the score until Sunday evening.

The league is a pointless farce - no one can hope to compete with a team that plays by totally different rules.

I doubt that Damocles has a better lawyer than Sarries...

I ignore Sarries and think of the league without them to help maintain my enthusiasm more. I hope that if they or anyone else have cheated then the consequences will be worthwhile to deter it happening again. I don’t hold out much hope.

Saracens up their offer to in-demand Max Malins amid interest from rivals

Obviously managing to scrape by without spending up to the salary cap.

Maybe they are delaying the announcement because it has devastating consequences and they don’t want anything to distract the large amount of Saracens players in the England squad.

That is a very good point. Say something like it’s not the players fault and Saracens should be able to sign whoever they want.
