If my calculation is correct, club membership for my son & me, ie a family 1 +1 membership, has gone up by 16% since I last paid, for 2020/21.
A pretty meaty rise and it's notable that Laurie mentioned in his email that there is another one to come next season. If it's the same size next time and, with inflation running at 7% that's not an unreasonable assumption, it would see membership going up by 1/3rd over those two years.
That's a very large rise, but if you look at the context, ie covid, rampant inflation, no rise for 2 or 3 years previously, it doesn't look quite as big. The club can take this strategy because they are selling out almost every home game. Ironically, our success on the pitch has enabled this approach.
Personally, I'm not renewing, but that's for non-Quins reasons. If I was able to, I'd probably swear under my breath and then renew.
