Great news - there was a time pre injury when I felt he was the real deal

I think thats a good move for Sam.

Will give him the ability to get into a team and start to play week in week out

Met one of the players last week and told me this and that Joe Gray is having a trial at Sarries.

good luck to him, he looked very good a couple of seasons back but then got injured and we saw very little of him since. Hope he gets plenty of game time.

Not sure if I'd describe him as experienced as he had so much injury downtime, but Sam still has something & hopefully can show it provided Irish can keep him fit. Really thought he was going to be the real deal too. Good luck Sam.

What are Irish's chances of bouncing straight back up at the end of next season?

Are they premiership founders, a team (business) which practically has to be back inside the fold before the gate's locked franchise-style against future relegation/promotion? I'm dead against locking the gate, by the way.

I want to see Hartpury beat Exeter in a premiership final, one day.

If he can stay fit I am sure he will thrive at Irish.
