Yes, c’mon Bris. Let’s make this season as uncomfortable as we all can, for these cheating, deluded b******s.

This is getting pathetic now. When will we move on from this pointless (+ boring, tiresome, disappointing) antagonism?

I for one am excited to have Sarries back - we have a proper local derby again and things will be even more competitive up the top end of the table.

Sarries cheated, they got relegated, now they're back up. Yes, they kept their trophies from the Nigel Wray years. None of that is going to change.

Surely it's time to get over it and get excited for what Quins are going to do rather than working yourselves up about what Sarries are doing?

Agreed. As I has said before, it is childish now.

They've never admitted being in the wrong let alone apologised for their cheating. Their punishment was also extremely lenient. They should have been demoted a league for every season they cheated IMHO so in my view, they are far from welcome back. They've been a stain on the Premiership for far too many years and have done the division and the game a great deal of harm

Until they apologise, show remorse and acknowledge that they did wrong and hugely damaged the integrity of the league and cheated other clubs' fans, players and stakeholders, then I see no reason to get over it, or forgive and forget.

As long as they seem to shrug it off as if they did nothing wrong, and everything they did was in the best interests of the game and their players, and as long as a large part of the rugby media goes along with that, then I wills till resent them.

Others are free to get over it and move on if they wish

And you're planning to have that argument with every Sarries fan you come across at the Stoop for our match against them, I presume? Or just keep rattling it out into the online vacuum? You do you, but in my mind life's too short and it's a bad look.

All I can think about is new season, new challenge for us, new Sarries squad (operating within the salary cap this time) vying for the title against us + any one of 3/4 others... and yet still, on here, we collectively seem to come back to Sarries of 2 years prior. I get the injustice - I felt the same way - but when do we move on and relish the rugby rivalry again? Because I doubt Nigel Wray is going to give you your apology. So are you waiting for his obituary?

I also thought the punishment too lenient, by far. However, it is what it is. I wont have any issue with sarries fans,  unless they spout off about injustice. I look forward to renewal of rivalry. I also want every other premiership side to spank them. Come on you Bris!

Personally I'm waiting for people to stop trying to sweep their cheating under the carpet. I long ago stopped expecting any remorse from them. As for them operating under the salary cap this year where have we heard that before? I fully expect it to be business as usual from them particularly with the architects of the years of cheating still in place..

You of course are perfectly entitled to your opinion but to suggest that someone who doesn't share it is "planning to have that argument with every Sarries fan you come across at the Stoop for our match against them" is frankly ridiculous.

My Premiership season will start tomorrow. Tonight's game is meaningless to me as will every other game the Cheats play this season including the ones against us. Other opinions are of course equally valid but I'll be sticking to mine.

What's done is done. I think Saracens got off lightly, but they've served their punishment and are back.

I feel sorry for their fans, who had nothing to do with it (even though there were a lot of them who were pretty obnoxious about the very suggestion that there might have been wrongdoing). I feel sorry for any players who weren't aware of what was going on (though I suspect there were not many of them).

That will not stop me supporting every other side against them. If you go by what the likes of Dippy and Gustard have said, they were systematically cheating for almost a decade, during which time they won 9 trophies.

Besides, Bristol play a better brand of rugby.

Saracens have never apologised for cheating for years, for winning by cheating for years. This is why they, IMO, deserve the ongoing chants of disrespect.

Agreed - Sarries players and coaches included. An apology would have made a big difference for me.

Based on the game so far, the over-celebration of the mundane is really going to grate this season.

"Same old Sarries, always boring"
Is it a coincidence that last season saw some of the most entertaining rugby in recent years?
