Non of this would have happened had they had a robust system which didn’t allow access to the opposite fans the link was meant for. I can see their point but still, they’re kind of in a glass house with this one when they’ve screwed over many fans who had already had tickets before they took them away. Then there’s the number of tickets available compared to England Football matches with a similar size capacity, and Wimbledon’s allocations etc. And then there’s today and many fans being in queues, then basket of lucky, only to have the site the crash. I get it’s cheeky in their eyes of our fans but can you blame some people when the RFU can’t seem to get their own system in order. I don’t know, it’s now a tight mess. Massive slip up from the RFU at the root of it to be honest
* For the record, not a season ticket holder this or last year (however long time season ticket holder before then) so gutted not to be able to get a ticket. Really hope some miracle happens etc and more tickets released seeing as Wembley’s Euros allocation is a lot higher for a similar sized stadium. I can’t see it happening though. Really pleased for those who got a ticket or 2 *
