Complaints re ticketing process
« on: Monday 21-Jun-2021, 10:48* »
I guess you'd have to complain to the RFU

I would probably use the online feedback form

And/Or you can complain to ticketmaster

And/Or complain to the club at customerservice@quins.co.uk

If the complaints system is as well designed as the ticketing system we will never get through

I drafted my complaint but you can’t submit it without creating an account! So you’re right it’s no easier to complain than it is to buy tickets. This doesn’t bode well does it.

You'll need the account for when they fixed the system and we're back next year!

They used the same system for both European cups and they're using it for the England games, so it won't necessarily be time wasted.

I suspect that it won't be anything like this moving forward at Quins.  Whilst it's obviously really frustrating for those who didn't get tickets, the circumstances are surely pretty unprecedented for rugby, and hopefully we won't see it happening again.

It would (at a minimum) be nice if someone apologised. Can't see Hancock-up or Boris apologising, though — obviously more votes available for Wembley soccer match attendance than Twickenham rugby, and more Red Wall soccer supporters (the only voters that the New Tories care about). SAGE won't apologise, because they will have wanted no-one in the stadium ever again (too risky). And they have the (distorted) stats to prove it.

I tried. My father tried. My best friend tried. All had the same issue and none of us going. Plenty of tickets available when we got to the front of the queue and then 40 minutes of 1970’s IT later no tickets left. Actually pretty cross but nothing I can do.

I think we had the same issue too with our own link being shared with non STH or Quins supporters. It’s the RFU who have messed up, not those who have bought them surely?

Non of this would have happened had they had a robust system which didn’t allow access to the opposite fans the link was meant for. I can see their point but still, they’re kind of in a glass house with this one when they’ve screwed over many fans who had already had tickets before they took them away. Then there’s the number of tickets available compared to England Football matches with a similar size capacity, and Wimbledon’s allocations etc. And then there’s today and many fans being in queues, then basket of lucky, only to have the site the crash. I get it’s cheeky in their eyes of our fans but can you blame some people when the RFU can’t seem to get their own system in order. I don’t know, it’s now a tight mess. Massive slip up from the RFU at the root of it to be honest

* For the record, not a season ticket holder this or last year (however long time season ticket holder before then) so gutted not to be able to get a ticket. Really hope some miracle happens etc and more tickets released seeing as Wembley’s Euros allocation is a lot higher for a similar sized stadium. I can’t see it happening though. Really pleased for those who got a ticket or 2 *
