Not sure anyone had mentioned this, but the third ealing player we were linked with (matt Cornish) has signed for London Irish, so we won't be getting the trio!

Forget Cornish - After watching the cricket over the last few weeks, we should find out if Rahkeem Cornwall is available.

Decent player.  Known about him for a while after seeing him in the West Indian T20 league.  They are apparently trying to get him into shape!!!

He's in perfect shape. He fielded at first and second slip giving the Windies a spare fielder elsewhere.

Agreed. Great skills that could easily transfer to the rugby pitch.

Has anyone ever played international level at both cricket and rugby?

Jeff Wilson. All Black who also played international cricket, I believe.

I'm not a cricket fan, but I googled him and watched him on YouTube. Jeez, he's huge! And fun to watch too! Incredible power.

Probably going o/t but M J K Smith was the last English dual international. Jeff Wilson indeed was a dual international so probably the last to do so, though ODI not test. There are many more from years past.

"Douglas Bader, amputee WWII flying ace, whose rugby and cricket careers were cut short by an accident in 1931."

Wonderfully understated...

Not really related but I met a Scot a couple of years back who played No8 for Scotland in the afternoon and won the Scottish heavyweight championship in the evening (not the day I met him I should add).

Did you spot that Andy Haden used to fly in from Italy to play for Quins on the Saturday and then fly home to play for Roma on Sunday?
