Current World Rugby Rankings
Position     Team          Points
1            New Zealand   91.54
2            Wales         89.96
3            Ireland       88.69
4            South Africa  86.3
5            England       86.27
6            Australia     81.91
7            Scotland      80.17
8            France        79.42
9            Fiji          76.98
10           Argentina     76.81

So Wales are 3 positions above us English, Ireland 2 positions.
Has Eddie picked these as our next opponents to make us second by the time we go to RWC? (assuming friendlies affect the standings)
Are we confident of beating both of them? (In Wales case twice?)

Are these going to be warm up games where the whole squad is used?

If they are like previous World Cup warm up games they will be played as normal games with 23 involved, albeit a different 23 for each game.

I don’t read much into the rankings to be honest. Only really important come the stupidly early seeding time for the next World Cup.

I'd say that any of the teams between 2nd and 5th can beat any other team in the same group, it's so tight. Beyond that, you have the ABs who you need a fair  bit of luck to beat, and you should expect to be able to beat teams 6th & lower.I'd also say that Argentina are unlucky to be so low in the table. Given how they've been playing in this years RC, they certainly are better than 10th in the world...
