I think the sad fact of this is that the reputation of those Irish players will precede them wherever they go , they have been found not guilty of **** , but all the ancillary comments made by texts demonstrated they are pretty unsavoury characters and disrespectful of women .
Anecdotally many LI ladies and families handed back or didn't renew their Season Tickets .
Easy to lay charges against Diageo for all sorts , but by this action they have demonstrated to their shareholders that they will not tolerate an association with misogyny.
They will claim its about the moral high ground
IMO , Its always about money .
