Anyone else struggling? Had mates who got there just after 6.30 and didn't get in before the KO.

Kings Bar pretty much a write off as well.

It's a relief to know that preseason doesn't count and we're gonna slip into premiership gear by next week.

Arrived just before 4, at 4.10 they still hadn't opened gate 3 but were letting in people through gate 1. The guys on gate 3 were told they could open but they didn't have a key so we had to enter through the staff entrance by the ticket office.

I don't know what was up with the gate around 6, but Gate 3 was open and working fine around 4.30, and I was able to get beers within a minute or two at 6.30. Most of the new stuff seemed to be working well, from.my point of view.

Shake the same couldn't be said about the pitch.

Got there 530 walked straight in
More concerned by activity on the pitch tbh don’t see any real change since last season
Line out was lousy and defence not much better

Ealing Chaos goes for the match too... what a miserable experience and game. I had hoped to see a marked difference in our performance. Ealing had most of the possession and played more positively. Our discipline was poor and our defence still weak.

Nathan Earle looked very good

Not that we deserved the gap to be that generous. Lots of daft errors. Albeit we were hampered by continual changes. Made Ice hockey look like they didn't use enough subs.

I presume they didn't actually try to get in because you'd have to be as thick as a whale omelette to not work out how to get in the ground with 30 minutes in hand!
