Ok so they didn’t have tickets, wasn’t sure what you meant, did see the long queues.
Always seems to happen even though it’s well advertised that even if a member you have to apply for a ticket

Yes, I think they were on borrowed season tickets. Not sure why they couldn't use the normal system. Seemed like it was asking for trouble.

It’s always ticketed. You always have to claim a ticket. They email a million times and it’s on every article about the match. You’d have to have brain damage to show up with a membership card. I wondered why so many people were standing there.

There were no queues to get in the ground.

There was a queue for people who can’t read.

Someone in the beer queue told me they had a nightmare trying to pick up tickets for the game.

It looked like a nightmare - presumably coz they got caught up with all the people who didn’t read the email say you needed a ticket!

To be fair I ordered my tickets online the day they were first released so we would get our STH seats and the paper tickets never arrived despite there being months in between. We arrived shortly before 4 for the members afternoon and so were lucky there was no queue to collect the tickets.

Are you sure you hadn't received eTickets? I seem to remember it defaulted to eTickets when i ordered mine.

Taken after queuing for over half an hour at 7.05.....

That's the queues for tickets, not too get in. Mind you I used the loo beside Gate 3 on my way to my seat in the DHL stand about 10 to 7 and there was a fair old queue to get in. Only one double entrance was open and someone was frantically trying to open another.

I had to phone the club on Monday because when I tried to book on line it said that my session had timed out every time I logged in to the site. My tickets arrived on Wednesday. I was a bit confused by the meal vouchers as there didn't seem to be a burger stand with the same name as on the voucher. I guessed it was the one with the huge queue. I was right. As I was wondering if I would make the counter before the five thirty deadline a member of staff came along and told everyone that you could use the two food counters either side and they wouldn't stop serving at five thirty.
I wasn't expecting too much from the game as friendlies rarely produce a classic. In fact I'm surprised that it wasn't worse with the amount of rain in the second half. I like to see our new signings in action to see if they fit in straight away.

Got there at 18.05 hrs, bag search, entry, eliminate body waste, coffees and seated watching the warm up and trying to identify players by 18.20hrs. Simples.

I had no problem, booked tickets about a week ago and paper tickets arrived. Got in no problem, had burger and then pint in honours bar chatted to players. Was all fine for me but as always people not reading correspondence or being organized, if you arrive just before ko then there will be queues. Stop blaming the club for every little thing and try and get organized if you do this the whole experience will be more enjoyable. Just need the club to get the playing side sorted!

Interesting when the teams come out of the players tunnel. Eddie Jones was seen walking to his seat in the west stand. Quins players just 'carried on'; Ealing players stopped to tap him on the shoulder.

Eddie is always at the Stoop so our players are probably used to him along with our many England players. Ealing not so. It might be the first time they've seen him.

Clearly there was a problem of sorts. Accusing everyone of being morons and (incorrectly) for not getting there early enough is ridiculous. Quins misjudged the walk ups, it would seem. That appears to be the biggest issue and some, like my friends, got caught up with that. To say that he should have got there with his 5 year old an hour before kick off is nonsense.
