Or, as it will be known for the day, "The Tom Williams Memorial Suite".

It's a measure of how long ago it was that I had to think about that for a moment!

It’s about the only time us peasants get into the members bar and even then you have to donate some claret.

You can go in there for me any time you want. It's the wrong side of the ground, the beer always tastes the worst out of any bar at the Stoop and it's like being trapped in 1982. We never use it.

It’s the only time I’ve been in there and I don’t buy any food or drink in the ground as it’s generally atrocious, and overpriced .

Rubbish! The food in the ground is excellent these days. The Pie shop and the fish and chips are particularly good. The prices are no worse than you pay in the pubs in Twickenham.

I had the fish and chips last year and they were good. I’ve had a burger at the start of the season which was less, or is it fewer, than average. Luckily it was free. I had another burger at the ladies game a few weeks ago and it was virtually inedible and cost £8 . I was going to ask for my money back but the others in my group didn’t want me to cause a fuss. The two burgers were from different outlets. I’m afraid that over the years of trying the food and the prices charged has put me off. You can say that the prices are comparable to local pubs but they provide cutlery, plates, somewhere warm and comfortable to sit and better beer. You can also pay with old fashioned cash or cards if you choose.
However, feel free to introduce me to this marvellous food you talk about by buying me something from each outlet at each home game to tempt me into changing my mind. (Smiley face with inquiring look emoji)

Maybe the Members Bar would suit him - it is like going back in time.

Totally agree on food and beer - it’s fine and prices aren’t any different anywhere else unless you’re a muggle who doesn’t live in London
