I've been bombarded by emails trying to sell me tickets for Saturday's game and I'm sure I'm not the only one on this forum.

Looks like they're only opening the bottom tier, but then that's not surprising as they're charging £70 + fees for a ticket on the 5 metre line.

£70 on the sides , but only £21 in the corners and £27 behind the posts .

Most recent results:

Beat the Classic Wallabies 27-24
Lost to an Australia XV 31-28
Lost to a New Zealand XV 22-31
Beat Tonga 27-24
Beat Munster 19-0
Beat British Army 37-0
Bear England XV 65-43

And the players keep wanting to play. As Springbok captain Siya Kolisi said on the BBC Podcast, he was excited to have the chance to play on Saturday.

So that's a yes, then.

It's a terrible time to try and sell tickets for a BaBas game against a team that doesn't have the level of general interest of an NZ, SA, AUS. Odd fixture to have at HQ after a 4 match Autumn series.

Well yes, but not odd when you read their figures for the past 12 months...

England: Daly, May, Trinder, Francis, Brown, Ford, Youngs, Marler, Singleton, Sinckler, Stooke, Launchbury, Robshaw, Curry, Mercer.

Replacements: McGuigan, Genge, Schonert, Beaumont, Wilson, Robson, Cipriani, Solomona.

Barbarians: Ashton, Tuisova, Radradra, Matavesi, Adeolokun, Russell, Williams, Buckley, Kayser, Afoa, Dillane, Timani, Fernandez Lobbe, Tipuric, Vito.

Replacements: Polota-Nau, Uhila, Herrera, Tekori, Latu, Laidlaw, McAlister, Fekitoa.

It was a bloody good game of rugby and that Barbarians line up is stellar.

True - but sums up the general level of rugby administration these days.
