I don't mind that Sarries get their way by playing us at Wembley or wherever. By all accounts our players relish the opportunity to play in the larger stadiums so if it's good enough for them it's fine by me.
As long as it’s not the Olympic Games stadium. I managed to go there during the Olympic Games and it was fabulous, but going back for a Sarries game made it apparent that it just isn’t suitable for football or rugby. The playing area is soooo far away from the spectators in every direction, and if you’re in an end location rather than on a side, you need a telescope to see what’s going on at the far end. Also, the seating gradient is not steep enough, and if you’re towards the rear of the seating plan, you need your telescope to see the pitch closest to you.
I was however, looking forward to seeing the new White Hart Lane stadium, but as we know, it got cancelled.
