Very weird to use the Guardian's article boosting this to criticise the Guardian for imaginary future negative coverage of the same thing...

I know that the original article was in the Guardian. My point was that it is exactly the sort of enterprise that some of the Guardian comment / opinion columnists would write a scathing piece about - Ash Sarkar comes to mind. Not all writers for the same paper have the same opinions. I am sure that some columnists probably think that rugby is an awful middle class, male dominated pursuit, etc. In exactly the same way that it wouldn't surprise me if someone in the Telegraph or Mail praised some charitable enterprise then Toby Young or Alison Pearson wrote a column the next week criticising it for encouraging lazy, communist, degenerate behaviour, or something.

Anyway, was only a light-hearted comment. Not intended to cause offence or, more to the point, to take away from the good work being done by the charity.
