I’m not surprised he left and wish him all the best. It’s a huge shame for Quins but ultimately he is likely to get more opportunities to show what he can do in France, it will be a great experience for him, and he was extremely unlikely to break into the England team before the next World Cup. Here’s hoping that if/when he comes back to England, it’s with Quins.
