Gussy updates on squad taking a break from rugby, re-signings, new signings and the upcoming games.

Sounds like we'll be waiting a bit for announcements of new signings but they're coming!

Always like his videos -- can see exactly how he can inspire a dressing room. And DC basically hinted the same thing at the end of the pod -- with Ugo saying he knew who they were but neither of them dared hint.

Did they give any indication as to how happy Quins fans would be with the signings?

Thanks for that. He does come across as firm but fair.

No but doubt they'd have mentioned them if there were boring. DC just called them new signings (i think..)

Ugo said something like "a couple of overseas players maybe?" and there was an exchange about how Ugo knew exactly who had been signed and they'd better stop talking about it.

Exciting times! Can't wait for them to start coming out of the woodwork...

More or less confirms that that is it on re-signings.

Yeah DC said a few weeks ago that a bunch of players had been told they're out.

I think it is a pretty good idea not to announce any new signings yet. Gussy is trying to build a cohesive unit and a core group of players who are going to give everything for Quins this season (and beyond). He is succeeding in doing that.

While new signings will provide only momentary speculation and doubt in the players' minds, it is still a distraction.

As with everything this season, I am impressed with Gussy's approach. Very much looking forward to hearing him speak on Tuesday at the Quinssa do.
