Gustard to Tigers...?
« on: Saturday 08-Dec-2018, 23:19* »
Just see the preview of tomorrow TRP and see it’s got splatered on the front that Tigers have told Quins to name the price for gussy.... I’d be shocked if he went so early without having a good go at Quins, also states that Codling is off / gone back to Ealing.

What’s happened? We’ve not even hit half way through the season :/

Taking the Mick surely? Unless we've got serious proven talent coming in to replace them?

You’d like to think so. He hasn’t even made the squad his yet so I can’t see it happening.

Unless it's Edwards coming in as DOR let's stick with Guzzie for now.

Let him go & re-coup some of the money it cost us to get rid of the old coaching team .. even though it’s early days it’s clear already there is no magical coaching answer to the problems that lie at the club.

I certainly hope this doesn't happen, to me it would be another step towards football style transfers. I do think Gustard will show some loyalty to Quins however, yes there is no magic fix to Quins but I do believe given a season and bro.ging in his own players Gustard can and will transform our fortunes.

According to TRP report of the match yesterday we lost 4 line outs again yesterday so maybe that is why Codling is going but all very unsettling for everyone

This was the response of the Tigers CEO to the report:

If there was an award for a headline with the least foundation, this would be it !

Rocker much of what Fissler says actually comes to fruition he is not always wrong, I suspect Codling could be correct.

Codling has never really hung around anywhere that long anyway has he???  If a coach has the chance to leave for a bigger job (if that is the case) its hard not to let them go.

I hope this is wrong or he turns them down to finish the on.  I’m sure he lives that way so cold be tempting for him.

Ref: Codling maybe that he went from DOR/Headcoach to line out coach m not be working out for him.

Either way old be nice for the club to comment earl so we know.
