I still think we were lucky that the pass that Ugo picked up off the floor wasn't classed as a knock-on. Could've gone either way!

Such an incredible passage of play. I know there have been last gasp drop goals after more phases, but I'm not sure if there have been any in those conditions.

It could have gone wrong at some many stages. JTH's pick up, Ugo not getting across the line could then have been called a turnover as it took the ball so long to come out, possible offside by Stade, possibly holding on near the end. Made being drenched and freeziong cold well worth it

My mistake. It was of course JTH, not Ugo.

Remember talking to Jim Evans at an Academy evening many years ago. I'm sure he said his 'claim to fame' in this was that he was the only Harlequin not to touch the ball, he just remembers hitting ruck after ruck after ruck. Certainly a cracking bit of rugby

This was my first season as a ST holder, I remember watching with my grandad who has been watching Quins for years and years and remember him saying he’d not seen anything like that game before! I remember the winning it at the end of that massive effort, it felt like we won the cup as the crowd were off the seats going mental (it felt different to most wins; the weather, the long slog, beating a team like SF at the time).

One very special memory

Didn't realise Evans was still playing then. Thought he'd retired before then
