I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt; Maybe he'd offered some defence of provocation or such like. But it appears he's done a Ventner  & played silly burgers in front of the beak: never a good idea!

Did he think no one would see his social media comment.  Very poor judgement.

Surely he's old enough to not be this silly, oh well, some people never grow up, or grow brain cells

What an absolute idiot! Let's hope Billy V stays fit! I imagine that he's going to get the book thrown at him for this.

Gustard was also pleased with England prop Kyle Sinckler's contribution in the Pool 5 contest while claiming flanker James Chisholm would not look out of place on the international stage.

With Nathan Hughes facing a lengthy ban on Wednesday and Billy Vunipola still trying to get up to full speed and fitness, Eddie Jones will be keeping a close eye on any aspiring No8.

And Gustard insisted: 'England are looking around for ball carriers and James Chisholm is right up there. He did that exceptionally well today. There's not many guys who can beat that many defenders and get that many yards in heavy traffic. He had a great game.'
