So do I. Generally when the opportunity’s there, I watch the England women’s games when they follow straight after the men’s and I quite often enjoy them in a different way.

The men’s games have more drama and a more of a physical spectacle, but the women’s games are often more pleasing to watch with plenty of skill on display.

Scaratt is a top player and for a good time, I would’ve taken Marlie Packer over many of the male flankers! I also really rate Sarah Bern.

Why? I've watched some of the games, they're ok, but it's not the same IMHO.

I agree with Rocker on this.

The standards are different and the game generally slower, but this isn't necessary a criticism just a statement of circumstances as the game isn't as developed.

I also don't like the possible implication that if I don't like women's rugby I don't like rugby, for the record I don't like women's boxing but will watch a men's boxing match.

I'm not for a moment suggesting that women should not play rugby or that people who like watching their matches shouldn't do so, but the way in which (for "equality's" sake?) it's being promoted and billed as if it's top-drawer stuff alongside the men's "equivalent" is embarrassing. How on earth can a league in which we see scorelines like this weekend's Wasps 105-0 DMP Sharks (or Harlequins 103-0) be called 'Premier' anything? To say that "the standards are different" is true, but a massive understatement.

With the exception of DMP (being very poor) and Quins and Sarries (being very good), the teams are quite fairly matched.  In the few years the Prem has been going the standard has improved greatly and the teams are becoming much more competitive.  Will take time but heading in the right direction

Men’s and women’s rugby is different for obvious reasons. The league is in its third year and will take time to settle down. It isn’t yet fully professional so to compare it to the men’s Premiership isn’t a fair comparison. It’s a bit uneven in the spread of internationals through the teams but until there is a rule in place to stop teams recruiting as many as they like (like Harlequins) you will always get teams packed with the top internationals winning everything. You only have to look at the men’s game to see that . Even with rules in place. However, when you get the best competitors together the standard of skill on show is every bit as good as the men.  Like all sport, you don’t have to watch it. I don’t like Cricket, (leave it) or tennis but I don’t think the players are talentless . I respect what they do , it’s just not what I enjoy watching.

I know I should like it (I am female!) but I really don’t enjoy it - sorry. I actually feel quite sad about it. I played a lot of sports including cricket where we had a lot of fun beating up boys schools with brothers in the team. I watch women play hockey, lacrosse and squash. I used to enjoy women’s tennis but hate it now. I would rather women played 7s than 15s.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Quins v Loughborough game yesterday. Lots of skill on display from both sides as well as some silly mistakes. Quins took a while to settle then pulled away with some powerful driving play especially by Shauna Brown.  Then Loughborough came back into it when Quins brought the bench on and nicked a bonus point with some excellent attacking play by Emily Scarratt (amongst others). I have watched a lot more turgid error strewn games by Quins men!

I enjoy watching women’s rugby in the same way I could happily turn up to watch an A league game or go down to Richmond and watch championship rugby- but let’s not pretend it’s a patch on men’s test rugby.

I really enjoy it. Quins are a proper team too. They are excellent individually and collectively. Leanne Riley always impresses me, in particular. We have been to a few games at the Stoop and it is great fun.
They played very well yesterday but they dropped off in the last 10 minutes as they did against Wasps. Still, they have maximum points so far. The game against Sarries in a few weeks will be brilliant.

My favourite player is Brown. She has a good rugby brain. Her second try yesterday is a good example.
And she always seems to have a huge smile. She seems to really enjoy playing.

Yes - completely agree on this.

I watched Quins vs. Loboro live stream this weekend, as was missing my fix.
It was very enjoyable, good skill levels - and strangely enjoyable to see a side turning out in the quarters playing a style of play (forward-orientated power game) that we don't typically associate with the men.

I also agree with the comments on Brown - great player, good pace/hands/power. Her pick and go from the ruck (through the middle - no guard) reminded me very much of a try that (the criminally under-utilised) Semi Kunatani scored for the men's team.

Also think the Quins scrum half had a very tidy game (Leanne Riley), along with Emily Scarratt and Rhona Lloyd for Loboro.
