I believe Gray, White, Chisholm and Morris are all under contract for next season. Not sure on Louw, he hasn’t been renewed but there was some suggestion that he signed a three year contract (like Marler).
Trenier hasn’t really featured and suspect he will be leaving. Could potentially be replaced by Rhys Litterick who played for us in the Prem Cup and was just added to our EPCR squad.
Matt Symons renewal seems to depend on if he decides to retire, the linked SA lock seems a likely replacement.
I’d personally be happy to retain Wallace, he’s a good squad depth option and our back rowers do seem to pick up injuries often.
Keeping Jones would be nice, but likely a luxury we can’t afford given the cap reduction. And he was really an opportunistic signing last season rather than a need.
Can’t see us signing any more outside backs with the talent we have coming through.
Jones has rather turned into a need with the injuries to Green and David, though.

Not sure a 27 year old who managed 7 starts in 3 seasons at one of the worst Premiership sides is really who we should be looking to bring in? Even if he is scoring for fun for Ealing!

Also, if he is so good would Ealing risk losing him hoping for promotion to the Premier?

I think that's partly because Walker is new this season and we've had very inconsistent lineout pairings this season - how often have we started with Steph and Symo? Consistency makes a big difference with lineouts, and for the level of change we've had our lineout has been better than in previous years. I'd expect it to be more consistent next season with Walker more used to his jumpers.
On the other hand, our scrum is still right up there and our mauling and maul defence improved so the direction of travel is good.
By the way, Falcons fans are reporting that Deano is being booted upstairs with Walder taking over and Mark Wilson replacing Minty as defence coach.

I suspect there's not much between the best and worst lineouts in the league. It's a bit like consumer reports on cars these days - your new vehicle can come bottom of the heap if the cupholders are a bit small or fragile.
Is Lewies the “usual” line out caller? As he’s been out for sometime, perhaps we’ve slipped down the order in his absence and the replacement hasn’t been able to control the line out as well. Quite a few misses on Saturday seemed to do with badly timed jumps as much as bad throws.

I think he's certainly our primary lineout option when he's fit. I suspect Tiz calls it when he's in the squad. It struck me over the last couple of games that our lineouts are generally pretty good when we keep them simple and it's the overcomplicated ones that go wrong more often.

With White extending, it’s probably a moot point, but Uzokwe is a better player than those starts for Newcastle suggest. At that point in time, they were very hesitant on giving opportunities to academy players and played Wilson and Welch unless they had no other option.
Plenty of players have come from the Championship and done well in recent times, Frost and Hatherell being two of the more obvious examples this season. While I wouldn’t be ecstatic to sign Uzokwe, I wouldn’t dismiss him without giving him a chance.
