Interview with Toby Booth

Interesting that he says that part of his role is to develop the "young coaches", so presumably Snapper and Bomb

Nice interview. I think the clubs' social media "game" has stepped up this season with clips like this being made more often.

Gussy made the point at his talk earlier this year that until Booth arrived all of the coaches were inexperienced in role - he was entering his second year as a DoR, Snapper and Bomb had only just started coaching and although Sean Long was a more experienced coach, he was new to union. Even the academy coaches are new in role.

So I assume that Toby will actually be putting a fatherly arm around most of the coaching staff. Gustard included: he's certainly not arrogant enough not to ask for help when he needs it.

FWIW, I'd guess Jim Evans has been an Academy coach now for 9 years, I would'nt class that as 'new in role'

Is he likely to stay I’D its no coincidence that our attacking a defensive mauls have really kicked on since his arrival.

Echo what J Scott says. I think Booths arrival has definitely shown an improvement in on field performances but it might just be a coincidence.
