Agree the extra home game and cash would be handy in the short term, given it would just be that, the short term. Ground share including or excluding training facilities?

I also wouldn't want a repeat of the previous ground share, but that doesn't seem to be on the cards. Not exactly great when taking the kids along to have to put up with that from some of the Irish fans.
LI have their own training facilities. It's just because the Lionel Road Stadium completion was pushed back due to the pandemic.

HARLEQUINS EXTEND GAME HOSTING OPPORTUNITY TO LONDON IRISH
Tuesday, 14th July 2020 @ 12:00

IN AN ACT OF FRIENDSHIP WITHIN THE RUGBY COMMUNITY, HARLEQUINS HAS EXTENDED FELLOW PREMIERSHIP RUGBY SIDE LONDON IRISH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THE REMAINDER OF THEIR 2019/20 HOME GAMES AT THE STOOP.

London Irish’s tenancy at the Madjeski Stadium expired during Premiership Rugby’s COVID-19 hiatus. While the construction of their new ground, the Brentford Community Stadium, has been halted during the lockdown, the Exiles have been temporarily left without a home ground.

Harlequins CEO Laurie Dalrymple said "we are delighted to support our soon to be returning neighbours to be able to complete the 2019 20 Premiership season. The Club is doing everything within its power to help get the sport back on its feet following the substantial impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. With that in mind, Harlequins have come to an agreement that London Irish will play their remaining 5 home games in Twickenham, one of which comes against Harlequins".

London Irish CEO Brian Facer said: “Although we may be fierce competitors with Harlequins on the field, even rivals can support each other during extraordinary circumstances such as these, and I would like to thank the Quins Board, and in particular their Chief Executive Laurie Dalrymple and his team, for their positivity in accommodating our matches.”

It will be interesting to see how the club handles our away game at our home ground.

It happened a few years ago.  A few years ago, LI used the Stoop for their pre-season games. One of their games was against us.

How much re-branding (if any) was there?

I would guess the main thing would be the pitch-side advertising would be changed to the LI sponsors rather than ours for TV coverage. I can't see much else being needed or feasible.

And when we play our away game at home, presumably we get the away changing room?

The pitch side advertising is all electronic - so I would guess that it is very easy to change.

It doesn't matter a jot now. It mattered the last time we did it. London Irish were better at creating atmosphere and general supporting than we were. (I once got told off for cheering the team in the old members' bar! - not done, old chap.). We were all in the throes of changing from amateur to professional and London Irish were doing it a whole lot better than we were. Fortunately that changed when Mark Evans came along, but even then for some time London Irish were the team we aimed to emulate both on and off the pitch. When we had a talk to the two Davids, apparently now it is Northampton.

Only part of it is. The lot at either end and in front of the West Stand are still the old-fashioned physical panels.
