Yes the Englamnd way before they went off the rails and the Sarries way of old too. Not sure it's pretty, but the way things have panned out last season, I think perhaps neccessary.

Fissler saying on twitter that Smith might exercise a clause to leave due to change of coach. Not sure of this is just because he's got a copy of his contract or anything more substantive

He definitely shows a great deal of promise and in terms of the club and academy system - is a real propspect.  I find it interesting - as I did with Robshawm, Brown, Tom williams, etc., - to follow their development and see if they attain their potential.

I think at the time it was a fairly common complaint, he had no range at all. But I'm still impressed with how much he improved there.

I remember it slightly differently - to begin with he was trying to boot it as far as he could, but missed touch a few times and seemed to bring it back a little to make sure he found touch...

No doubting the improvement of his kicking (and tackling) game...

Yes, he's been a different man since reading my advice on kicking for the open spaces, making sure the ball bounces before the catcher gets it and using little grubber kicks to keep the defensive line honest!
