Been looking in vain for an announcement from Quins about the squad for tomorrow's match. Nothing so far...

That is a bit strange.
They announced the team at 12:00 - but now it seems to have disappeared

e.g. The Cat is starting at 10 and Swiel is on the bench.  I will write down as much as I can remember and post it here :-)

FR: Crumpton, Boyce, (McNulty I think)
SR: Glyn + ?
BR:White+Lamb+?
HB:Mulchrone + Cat
Wings: Walker+Visser
Centres:Cheeseman+Tapuai
FB: Morris

15 Aaron Morris (17 appearances)
14 Charlie Walker (87)
13 Henry Cheeseman (14)
12 Ben Tapuai (-)
11 Tim Visser (61)
10 Tim Swiel (48)
9 Charlie Mulchrone  © (18)

1 Lewis Boyce (15)
2 Max Crumpton (0)
3 Will Collier (126)
4 George Merrick (81)
5 Ben Glynn (20)
6 Stan South (17)
7 Luke Wallace (162)
8 Archie White (21)

Game changers
Dave Ward (143)
Mark Lambert (234)
Phil Swainston (9)
Jack Kenningham (-)
Hugh Tizard (-)
Dave Lewis (17)
Cadan Murley (-)
Calum Waters (4)
Harry Barlow (-)

2 Things I noticed

1) GAME CHANGERS !!

2) Mulchrone is captain. Now of course it is only a friendly but he could have picked Wallace.  I hope this means he is above Lewis in the pecking order!!

GUSTARD SELECTS YOUNG TEAM TO PLAY CHAMPIONSHIP SIDE ON SATURDAY EVENING WITH MULCHRONE AS CAPTAIN.

Head of Rugby Paul Gustard has selected a young team to face the Championship side at the Stade Santander International, with Scrum-half Charlie Mulchrone as captain and Ben Tapuai, the Australian summer signing from Bath, playing at Centre.

“We are very excited about the season ahead and have had a positive pre-season at Surrey Sports Park to date with the squad training with great energy and enthusiasm,” said Gustard.

“Now we have the chance to put the hard work we have invested on the training field into practice against a very accomplished Jersey Reds side as we continue to build and get stronger towards the start of the season on 1st September. It will be a good challenge against a big, powerful team and I am looking forward to seeing what this group of players can do for Harlequins.”

Gustard has also selected three first-year Academy players – Back Row Jack Kenningham, Second Row Hugh Tizard and Centre Harry Barlow - in the squad.

“I am pleased to be able to include the Academy players in the group and it will be an important experience for them to be a part of this fixture. Jack, Harry and Hugh have all contributed well to pre-season training and deserve this opportunity.”

Team looks like its picked itself from those that have done a full preseason so far .

Hope they have a good one ..

Likewise those that travelled enjoy the sunshine and a few scoops of Liberation Ale ..

Yep was about to say the same, if you on he time you ge som game time
Can’t expect those that have been back a week to go straight into a game

Actually hope that this season people will get picked on merit and not just because of who they are
