Having a clear out of some old shirts, trying to raise some family funds. Thought I'd let you know I'm selling this one.

Player issue implies that this kit was issued to a player .. that’s just not true is it ?

I remember a few years ago trying to explain to someone in the club shop after a game about the difference between a playing shirt and a replica shirt. The player shirt had been reduced from £100 to £50. The chap couldn’t understand why it was still more than the replica. I tried to show him the extra sponsor and Premiership decals plus the totally different material and construction. He thought the replicas were what the players wore and wasn’t having it that they were different. Never mind.

If it were issued to a player I would have mentioned which player!

It is a player issue version of the shirt (a different material and different cut to the replicas). Given that at the time this kit was in use by Quins, the club didn't sell player version shirts, I think it's likely it was originally in a kit bag somewhere, unused at the end of the season - hence why no number has been printed onto the number patch on the back.
