Seconded. He’s turning into a very decent ref.

I bumped into him in the car park at HQ a few weeks ago. Had a chat, he seems very happy with the way things are working out.

A classic Poacher-turned-Gamekeeper situation. Since he's been on the other side of the whistle, he knows some of the things that players that try to get away with and also how to handle players & situations. Good to see he's already getting International experience too.

Really pleased for him and seems very respected by all the Clubs he has been reffing even including Steve Diamond.

Does anyone have any idea when he might be able to referee our games?

Wayne Barnes told us several years ago it was the refs decision to nominate clubs they felt they had connections with. From memory he did not do Bristol, but don’t know if he does now. Can’t see him wanting to come to Quins until his mates have all retired.

Bristol? Do you mean Bedford?

Edit: I guess you're talking about Barnes not Dickson
