I just prefer to get all my gossip from Us Weekly and Heat Magazine.

Anything new on the Meghan Markle replacing Mark Mapletoft rumour? You could make yourself an RIL source...

I really don't get why so many of you have an issue with RIL. It's actually a team of guys I think. But they're putting out rumours - they're not claiming to know for sure (although on the Kwagga Smith thread they claimed that Evans from Tigers is a done deal). Even if it turns out not to be the case and Evans stays at Tigers, why do you all care so much? It gives us something to talk about - bit of fun, surely? I mean, it's rugby, not the downfall of the NHS or Brexit or the miraculous rebirth of Hitler. And when they do get it right (which they quite often do) you don't exactly come on here and give them credit when it's due do you? Lighten up, transfer gossip is meant to be fun.

It was originally one person and it was his dislike of Quins that got to people as well as tagging Quins players like Marler into tweets just to abuse them before deleting quickly. If there is anything negative about Quins he is quickly jumping on the band wagon.

What all these rumours show is that it would seem that no-one in rugby has any concept of confidentiality.

What was the abuse? Because obviously that's not acceptable and is one of the reasons I don't particularly like Andy Goode. That would make sense.

But I think a few on here have just decided RIL are "knobs" for putting in some time and effort to get connected in the sport and throw some rumours around. I haven't seen any particular bias against Quins over any other club on there (they openly admit to being Saints fans so you can't really have a problem with their Saints bias either) and getting your back up whenever someone is negative about the rugby team you support feels to me like the kind of reaction for which some people would label the likes of myself a "millennial snowflake" - and something tells me it would be some of the same people calling this Twitter account a "knob". Just weird to get so aggy about a rumour mill Twitter account. If you really don't like it, don't read it - or give actual justifications when dismissing their rumours when they get posted on here.

Yours sincerely,

Snowflake

It was along the lines of Marler being a fake hard man and a knob, didn't last long. His spats with Fissler used to be fun.

However there doesn't seem to be anyone picking up the rumour now so who knows what will happen

OK, so:

1) He's incredibly needy and passive-aggressive
2) He frequently slags off Quins and gets into stupid spats with players
3) He effectively nicks other people's info and passes it off as his own, and makes other things up
4) He trumpets the times he passes on the right info and ignores/deletes the ones he gets wrong
5) He's a leech on the sport and it's pretty clear how many journos and players think he's a knob, fake rumours do damage

Also just for me, 6) he has no clue how to do any kind of statistical analysis - he recently did some hilariously crap work about crowd stats that didn't pass the smell test, and he bragged about allegedly causing the Premiership Rugby twitter account to post something positive about attendance figures about 20 minutes after his crap went online... that's him in a nutshell!

I do wish you wouldn't sit on the fence ;)

Jammy completely agree - RIL is perfectly entitled to post as much crap on twitter as he likes (assuming itís not libellous) and Iím perfectly entitled to think heís a knob for doing so.
