 The talk out of Tigers is he wants to stay, this is mainly a play to force Tigers hand a bit.

 Thing with tigers is they have a habit of not letting the younger players feel that they will get the game time.
 Ala Thacker, with Murphy in charge it might change a bit but he isn't the one in charge of contracts.
