Poor performance, but a win’s a win I suppose.

That Tigers side were there for the taking and a BP would have been very welcome.

I suspect we’ll need a win at Wasps now. Not beyond us, but not totally in our hands either.

Yeah, not great. We saw against Clermont what happens when we trust Smith - we can't starve him of ball that much, Danny gets bogged down.

Front row looked really good, including Elia while he was on. Thought Barnes was good in some parts, bad in others. Missed a few offsides, but early on he made the scrum half use the ball quickly. Annoyingly, DC then proceeded to get away with not using it quickly, the whole game. Can't believe how much Tigers got away with at the breakdown. But the yellow card was a travesty.

We deserved the win but could easily have lost. Love the way Semi plays.

Have to disagree about Elia, thought he was poor when on.

Poor performance against a really poor tigers team. Glad to stop the rot and get a win but should have been 5-0 not 4-1.

Care played well, shame he had no support at the end for his almost try.

Clifford yellow was harsh. Interested to hear the reasoning.

All to play for in a fortnight at cov

That was a dull game.

Even the Tigers fan I was with thought the yellow was the wrong call.

But, a win is a win.

I'm bored of watching us play only via Care.

Yup - he was mostly predictable and his box kicks invariably resulted in the ball coming back at us, whereas Tigers boxes/up-n-unders put us under pressure. And the speed of thought/service from back of the scrum was slo-mo. DC also missed a few opportunities of blind side moves that may well have caught Tigers out.

Pretty poor game all round, but glad of the 4pts.

Thought Cares game was OK most dangerous player but his kicking was very poor either too short or misdirect setting up attacking opportunities for Tigers. I thought yellow card was fair, whatever you do now you cannot end up hitting a player in the head as Clifford did even if you were already in the air. I agree with that rule as player welfare has to be 100%. There was no way he was going to charge down the kick so why launch yourself at the player like that.
Finally when will a Quins team stop making silly errors after a period of good play losing all Momentum. Happened constantly last night again sooooo frustrating.

Maybe Clifford thought he was trying to kick the ball back over his shoulder.

Aha!

Since when did we decide to stop playing the Quin’s way?

Care was excruciatingly slow and his (dreadful) kicking suggests our wonderful back line would be best used defending against Tigers backs than cutting through them. I really hope this isn't a Gustard instruction.

Against a witless, going-nowhere team that’s 2nd from bottom and showed nothing all game, the final insult was to let them get their ill-deserved bonus point through. At home and in the last game of the season we should be spanking the opposition - not gifting them points through horrible indiscipline.

No wonder the send-off was muted – Luke Wallace et al deserved better – but this hollow, hugely disappointing victory spoiled that.

Speaking of the ‘Quins way’, our best move was probably in the first minute when we actually saw some dangerous offloading and good support lines that could (probably should) have been a try.

There was the odd flash (the interplay with Dombrandt and Sinckler springs to mind) but we need Smith to run the team, not Care.

I think Landajo is more of a passing 9 which could be good for Marcus.

Saili and Campagnaro love an offload so I’ve not given up hope that PG likes a little bit of jouet when it’s on.
