Couldn't see from my seat. Why the red card?

Ball in arm, shoulder to face of tackler is the best I can find online (not at the game today)

Said on Twitter he blocked him with his arm to his face. Hope we don’t go into melt down second half

Didn't look a blatant forearm but more like his hand missed.

I bet we see that again today and no action is taken, one of the biggest issues we have at the moment is the consistency of the application of the laws.

So we ship the bonus in the final play. Pretty ropey. Not sure many stood up much from the radio coverage.

Not that a bonus point was useful to anyone

As much as it's a loss I am not overly downbeat about it. We were already out if the cup and used this opportunity to bring players back from injury. The league is where it matters to make the top 6 at least and the challenge cup secondly.

If you're going to wear an arm guard saying smash you probably shouldn't do any borderline forearms to the face

Bothma red card was probably right, was definite forearm to the head of the tackler but I think it was more a missed hand off from him rather than deliberate. One of those things.

Poor, reminiscent of the bad old days last year where our attitude was off and our fight disappeared all too often. Hopefully this was just a one off, but Ross Chisholm was as poor as I can remember - handling and positioning errors are one thing but if you’re as unbrave as that, you shouldn’t be near the shirt. And I suspect he now won’t be (may get a trot out next week but it’s a dead game) as I can’t imagine Gustard will tolerate that timidity.

Ibitoye is great fun to watch with ball in hand but his defence and kicking are comically suspect at times. Lang was disappointing. Auterac already injured again and looks increasingly like a very unwise signing - Boyce departing only adds to that.

And the red card was bound to happen at some stage with how the laws are being enforced at the moment and given how Bothma always leads with the forearm into contact. Much like Farrell’s tackling, you’re asking for trouble unless you adapt and he can’t have any complaints, even though on another day and another ref it might have inky been yellow. Hopefully will learn his lesson from this.

A poor game all round.  Saracens took an age to capitalise on their numerical advantage and it's not as if we were doing much of any quality to frustrate them.  Saracens' stars didn't look particularly special in their team of filler, likewise ours.

A very disappointing back line, sufficiently so that Morris comes out with credit for being anonymous.  Walker and Ibitoye is a poor wing pairing, unless lateral running and going into contact is your thing.  Nothing to add on earlier comments about Chisholm.

Kpoku was active in attempting charge downs all match, so no surprise that this led to a try.

Beyond the obvious headliners, how many of that Quins team will be playing for us next season, and how many would be missed?
