He would certainly deserve a good send off

Currently playing for 7s. Putting himself about but not a natural 7s player I think it’s fair to say

As in another thread it would be great to know who they all are that are leaving so we could give them the send off they all deserve.  I hope they all do well wherever they end up.

I have a feeling we'll get a news article released on the website tomorrow listing the rest of the leavers and where they're heading, as well as a copy in the programme of tomorrows game. Fairly standard practice.

I for one, will miss Luke Wallace - I think he was good - but got lost in the coaching jungle that existed before. We may end up regretting his departure.

Shame for him he didn't get to play a final match - career on its bottom sadly.

Not good enough for the Premiership

Yeah, you're right - not worthy of a shirt - he should play for Dorking. Pah! You're not worthy of much either. Critique on any board is to be expected, but such hyperbole exposes your lack of reason.

He’s been a loyal player, for which we should be grateful.

But I agree - he is no longer good enough for the premiership. I never expect to see him in the matchday 23, leaving aside dead rubbers in the premiership cup, for example. Looking at other squads in the league, I struggle to see the situation being different elsewhere.

I have had a season ticket for 10 years and have watched many wonderful and committed players at the Club but I doubt there were any that gave more to each and every game he played than Luke. People who come on here and say cretinous things like "He's not good enough for the premiership" are I suspect Trolls but if not they have little knowledge of the game or what it takes to go out there and play against the best in the country, especially at 6 or 7!

I remember him running down the right wing during the Quins v Bath LV Cup Semi and offloading to Williams.  One of my top tries.
At his best, he is an athletic, committed back row who makes a nuisance of himself at the breakdown.
Sadly, I was at the Not Not's pre season game where he took his bad injury and I think that he was destined to spend a long time coming back from that.  I am unsure that we have seen much of him since then up to full strength and full fitness.
Sad to see him go.  He may be arriving at another club in the peak of fitness.

Ps - I wish that I had his golden locks.
