I used to think Top Gun would be by far the most beautifully homoerotic thing I'd ever witness. Quinky and Deadly's "banter" really does take my breath away though.

This is the weirdest trolling ever. Yeah I speculated that Horwill was perhaps not going to make it back from injury after two years where he was injured a lot and the most recent injury where he was out for months with no word on his condition.

Then - lo and behold - he came back, played half a season and retired saying his body had given up.

It’s not quite the same as saying there would be £350m a week for the NHS and then there isn’t.

Funny when I mooted that Clifford may never be a regular performer due to injury issues  I recall you making your usual snide comments - ah well

Not another Brexit comment - we all know you voted leave - many did not- this is not the place for yet another Brexit discussion it is a rugby forum.

Just because you keep on saying the same things about Brexit it does not mean anyone is listening.  Keep it for the bores in the Prince Blucher who want to have the exact same conversation a million times.  ( for the record I voted remain).

In my opinion, Wallace was a player who never really turned up. An “out & out seven”, who spent half the game nowhere near the breakdown. He had a good run when coming into the side at the start of our Premiership winning season, & in the LV cup win, but for me was way too inconsistent to hold down a first team jersey at Quins or any other Prem side.

Really? Did you ever see him play? I think your bias has stripped any facet of objectivity from your observation. Muppet.

Apologies.

Maybe 12.31 am is not a great time to post? Whatever happened to the value of critiquing ideas, not people?

It was shot in the head in a dank multi-story carpark in 2016.

To stick to critiquing ideas, I think that:-

In my opinion, Wallace was a player who never really turned up.

He was all around the ground for 5 years and led our LV team to cup victory - he won more than a few man-of-the-match awards and was often mentioned by many commentators with high praise, so I think your assertion that he "never really turned up" is incorrect.

An “out & out seven”, who spent half the game nowhere near the breakdown.

He tackled and poached away and won many turnovers - I think part of your thinking here possibly relates to the evident coaching decision to have him lurk occasionally on the wing and partly because you couldn't see him as he was in the thick of it under a ruck.

...but for me was way too inconsistent to hold down a first team jersey at Quins or any other Prem side.

For 5 years (2011-16) he was holding his place at Quins easily (7 tries in 2015/6) but, like much of the team, suffered under the later COS and Kingston years (2014-present) as most of the team ran around clueless at times. Following his injury, his form did drop (but, for example, his tackle completion was 92/94% for the last two season) and he has been shunted sideways with the advent of Clifford and Chisholm. He played for Saxons and for a non-capped England game.

Wallace is a quality player and has been unlucky over the last couple of seasons. First he had an horrendous injury in pre-season at LI. Mind you he recovered from a dislocated hip to play in the Big Game and did not let us down. This season he has been eclipsed by the arrival of Dombrandt, the return to fitness of Clifford and Semi-sonics form as an impact player. He his definitely Premiership standard, has given his all. And I wish him all the best in the future.
