I'm with TBQ.

If everyone is fit, he doesn't make my XV.

Robshaw and Clifford/Chisholm on the flanks with Bothma at 8.

I have very little time for Luamanu, who doesn't seem to have the ability to play for more than 20mins - perhaps Gustard will do something about that.

Wallace has little impact for me, apart from being stood on the wing all the time...and then ends up getting what would be a great pass if he was actually a winger!!!!!!!

Not sure White has the skills, Ward also lacks impact, good over the ball though.....

If Gustard lasts a few seasons it will be very interesting to see what he does with the squad.

There’s a lot I agree with there, although I do think Wallace is better than being simply a breakdown specialist. He’s a better link player than he gets credit for and is quick enough to keep up with the backs in attack which has been a problem for most of our forwards in recent times.

If everyone is fit, he probably doesn’t make my starting XV and as TBQ said, his selection requires compromises elsewhere but he’s comfortably better than Luamanu or White IMO.

I think our best back row is quite hard to pick TBH. If pushed I’d probably go for Robshaw, Clifford and Chisholm. I’d have Clifford pack down at 8 in attack and 7 in defence. I like Bothma too but I’d prefer Clifford and Chisholm if fit.

We can have whatever view we want but as mentioned above - Gustard picked him out for praise in his most recent video clip.

And the stuff about him being on the wing - he was presumably just following the inept plan of our failed and sacked coaches.

Maybe he’ll surprise his critics.

Back rowers on the wing is a general rugby tactic. Even the all blacks do it with certain players.

The fantastic Tom Williams try during the LV-Cup semi final against Bath was scored due to Wallace being on the wing and off-loading to Williams to score.
One of my all-time favourite tries.

I would be surprised if he starts more than 5 or 6 league matches but we will see! For me, he’s miles off international standard.

He should be a game changer at least.

Scored a good try against Jersey on the wing, Visser was in the backline and fed Cheeseman who fed Wallace. Can't help but think he's being told to be there as part of a greater plan
