Why does Marchant have to prove he can play 15 - a position none of the other out-and-out centres in the squad (bar, at a push, Henry Slade) can play and a position he has never played? He can definitely cover wing/12 in an injury scenario though - we've seen him cover at both very effectively.

Absolutely chuffed for him. Doubt he'll go to the RWC on the first plane (unfortunately, Te'o no doubt will) but really good to see he's right in the mix. And great to see Brownie in two consecutive training squads. Maybe don't write him off just yet?
